How to check a sample at home — 3 techniques
The sample has arrived — spend ten minutes checking it. These three techniques show more than any screen.
✓Look at it in different light — by a window during the day and under your own lamps in the evening: the shade shifts noticeably.
✓Check it in its working position — hold it vertically against the wall or lay it on the floor: the angle changes the sheen and the depth of the colour.
✓Compare the finalists side by side — two or three samples in one room under the same light, and the doubts fade on their own.

Questions and answers
How much do the sample and delivery cost?
The sample and delivery are paid: the cost depends on the collection and the delivery country and is calculated at checkout. Write to us at sale@tileforyou.eu and tell us which tile you liked — we'll give you the exact amount quickly. The sample cost isn't credited toward the main batch — but a mistake with a whole batch would have cost many times more.
How fast will the sample arrive?
Usually ~2 days: we ship samples from the warehouse on the day of the order, and from there a courier brings them to your door — to any city and country. The exact time depends on the sample's availability and the delivery address: the manager will confirm it when your order is confirmed.
What size is the sample? Is it a whole tile?
The sample is a cut piece of tile, usually ~5.5×5.5 in. That's enough to judge the colour, texture and sheen in your own light. We make samples for regular tile; decors, stair treads and skirting aren't offered as samples — for a specific collection the manager will advise.
Can I order several samples at once?
Yes, and it's even better that way: similar collections are almost indistinguishable on a screen, but side by side, in real life, the difference is obvious right away. Order all your candidates in one parcel.
Will the sample exactly match the main batch?
The sample is a piece of the same collection as your main order. With ceramics, slight tone differences from batch to batch are normal, so it's best to take the whole batch from a single shade lot — the manager will see to that when your order is placed.
What if the sample isn't right?
It happens — that's exactly what the sample is for. We'll find a match with the same pattern — cheaper or in stock, find options by an interior photo — or the manager will put together a selection by hand and send new samples.
